First off; prom. 

Prom was actually a mega success!! It was awesome! Admittedly, it was kinda boring at first, we were just eating and stuff... which was kinda pretty boring. HOWEVER after the music started playing everything was soo much fun!! Everyone else either;

a) went out into town for clubs etc

b) spent the whole night outside smoking

Meaning that we who were left could just have fun dancing and acting liek complete LOONS!! 

We discovered that to dance properly you have to act as if you're drunk... XD haha it was the funniest thing! We eneded up doing the YMCA, macarana (and other cheesy 90s/80s classics)

There were also these giant helium balloons shaped like letters that spelled out "PROM 09" but they were later re-arranged to spell "PO0" (with the R,M, and 9 sort of floating around). There were giant balloon pillars too which were also ripped down and attacked by us X'D hahaha... Yeaah I managed to get home with the 'O' balloon around my waist! And yes, I was sober! 

Ah, yeaah that was another thing, because at our all girls school we are perfectly well behaved young ladies [<- blatant lie] loads of people brought 18+ year old boy friends and used them to buy alcohol (of course). As far as I'm aware there were a few "ID cards" floating around... if you get my drift.

So yeah, with us all being well behaved young ladies we expected people to get drunk, and we expected people to arrive drunk (when a girl who hates you runs up to you and says how beautiful you look you know she's drunk!) however... we didn't expect someone to go home in an ambulance! I won't go into details; but I hope she recovers quickly and isn't too affected by it...

So, that was friday night. Theeeen there was Saturday night!! X'D Just as I was relaxing (?) after having got not so much sleep I ended up going to [insert name of large shopping mall] with 'A', his family and his brother's friend to see Star Trek! 

THAT FILM WAS AWESOME!!

Seriously; I'm a big fan now!! I went in with an open mind because I tend to like Sci Fi anyway, and Zachary Quinto plays Spock B3

And I thoroughly enjoyed it! I mean I really really loved it! And may I just say, I love Chekov! I want to bundle him up in a little box and take him home! D8 His Russian accent was so smexy! he can't pronounce 'v's X3 love hiiim~

After seeing the film we all went to Pizza Express and ended up having a major game of sharades... 8D

So, finally, this leads us onto Sundayy!!! Sunday was my birthday! (I'm 16 now!! D8 I feel old...) We went to 'lucky voice' karaoke booths! It was the FUNNEST thing ever! It also contributed to many  happy and hilarious memories! XD I really really really HIGHLY recommend it!

I found out about Lucky Voice via NEO magazine (http://www.neomag.co.uk/) and I didn't realise but we were actually the first ever teenage customers!! Usually they just get adults having a night out! So I was praised for being the first to have a teenage birthday party there! XD I'mma gonna start a trend!! 8D whee~ 

Everyone at LV are really really nice!! And there's this awesome 'thirsty' button you just press when you want some drinks! XD not to mention it's pretty cheap too!! 

So, all in all 'twas an awesome birthday, and I'd like to give a big shout out and "thank you" to everyone who came along~!

Whaa?

What day is it? srsly.. is it Wednesday? No wait.. It's Thursday... right?

Uughh... I haven't been feeling too "nyappy" lately... for reasons that shall not be discussed. Uuugh... there's so much I want to do but I feel so lethargic.. I'd like to go have coffee in [insert town name] but everyone lives so faaar away!! And my closest friends either don't like coffee or are at school... darn, that "school" thing really is such a nuisence... 'S', if you're reading; I want a hug!!

But! In other nudes, my first birthday card came today!! And recently I've been reading Death Note!! Yes... I have a whole PILE of books (as in manga >D) to read over summer!! Everyone keeps giving them to me! D8 (well, lending) I have, or at least had S's entire death note collection (now I have 8-12) and A sent me home from his house one day with a tower of quite probably all his manga... I'm sorry... But I've had S's stuff since early spring.. so it'll be a while!!

So I have some busy times ahead!!

Hmm... Btw; just before I wrap things up... I keep getting odd comments when people ask me about instruments... I say that I've just started teaching myself guitar... and (this is on one account) someone said "Oh, acoustic then, I'm assuming" and I replied "uhmm... electric guitar actually" and then there was this loooong pause till they replied "oh... well, good for you!!!" As if it was really amaizng that I should be playing electric instead of acoustic.

... So, my question for today is; Is it a girl playing electric guitar, or a beginner playing electric guitar that's odd? Because, loooaaads of people choose to skip acoustic guitar and go start as a beginner straight onto electric. And, it's no difference, decent acoustic guitars have steel strings, like the electric... not only that, but most electric guitars are easier for girls to hold (or at least I find this), and the necks are usually slimmer too, which is better as girls tend to have smaller hands. It's prolly just a minority thing, and even I think it's extremely weird for people to be saying this... but even so people keep saying these sorts of things... It's all very odd...I could never see myself playing acoustic... it's no way NEAR as fun as electric! Hahaha I guess I'm just crazy...

But still, of all the things I do that are considered odd for a person such as myself to do; ie, loads of people find it strange that I play video games, and that I draw manga XD; I thought that playing guitar was the most normalest of normal things ever!!

But anyway!! I am now adament to stay nyappy!! So all of you should too! Bye for now~!

I'm getting sick and tired of these "battle of the sexes things" It always annoyed me as a kid too! everyone in the play ground saying "boys are better than girls cuz blah blah blah" or "girls are better than boys cuz blah blah blah". But It's so annoying! I don't give a shit! Why can't everyone just be equal? geez it's so annoying! Someone always has to be better! 

I'm also getting sick of "girl's games". So I'm a girl, and I have a DS; that must mean I want to play "imagine:babysitter" !!

I don't even like children that much!! I really hate the "imagine" games series. It makes me want to cry when I see little girls sitting around like princesses playing these silly games... They need to get out and roll around in the mud and go rock pool-ing and have bike races and see who can get who first with a water gun!

geez. let's face it... I'm a tomboy, right? X'D

But seriously, I think great games appeal to all audiences. Lux Pain for example, and antoehr, loads of games. I think instead of trying to produce games to aim specifically at girls; they should rather find other ways of widening the gaming industry to female gamers. Rather than making all girls look stupid and girly, they should include girls more... DX maybe I should go into advertising? XD

FREEDOM!!

I'M FREE!

I'm free! I'm actually free!! ... It's very odd knowing I don't have to revise... at all!!! =D

whoooop!!! So, I'm free for about 2 & 1/2 months!! whoop~

...So what to do? I have many-a-plans of things to do; I wanna get out and have loads of summery fun!! whee~ I'm also planning on learning Japanese, and working on some manga!! (though I also need to get a summer job...)

So!! Friday was my Physics unit 1 re-sit/ aka, my last exam! whoop~! Mum et her lover boy~ X'D went off for a romantic weekend in a castle somewhere in Yorkshire; therefore leaving me staying at grandma's for the weekend! XD It actually was pretty fun! We went to blockbusters, and ended up getting 7 DVDs out!! SEVEN!! Don't ask me know! XD this is what we rented:

- Slumdog Millionaire

- The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

- The Reader
- Yes Man

- Valkyrie

- Death Note [live action]

- Death NOte 2: The Last Name [live action]

Haha, odd that we got 7 DVDs! 7 is my lucky number, and lately I've had a few odd moments when I always group things in 7! hahahaa XD

Yeahh they were all really good! (well, except for The Reader... it was a bit long winded...)

I also treated myself, with it being the end of my exams! I bought NEO magazine as I do monthly (srsly considering getting a subscription sometime soon) [http://www.neomag.co.uk/subscribe.asp]. And I also managed to find "The Da Vinci Code" for £1.99 in a charity store!! And it was in brand-new condition!! A find or what?! Then, After I ambled my way into Waterstones, I was browsing the manga section of [insert name of town/village my grandma lives in]'s Waterstones thinking "geez! this selection is awful!! [insert name of hometown]'s selection is waaay better!" And then.. I spotted "Maximum Ride", the MANGA adaption!!!

I've loved Maximum Ride for forevers! So to see it in manga format is like a dream come true!! I knew I shouldn'tve, but I just couldnt resist; and told myself it was a treat for survivng exams!! So, I bought it! :3

And it's AMAZING!! The adaption is simply exquisite! I could just happily drown in the artwork! Not only that, but the adaption is so close to the original novel! The character designs are exactly how I imagined everyone! And Iggy... I love Iggy!! I always have, and prolly always will!! And the character design in the manga is just perfect!! I love him even more now!

Aaahh~! NaRae Lee just got another fan!! X3

Only one more day till my physics exam!!!

It's Thursday, and my last post was on Tuesday... In normal circumstances I probably wouldn't post; but this is epic!

This morning, (around 9ish) I finished Lux Pain!! D8 I was really really sad... I'm seriously addicted... Every night for the past month or so (maybe a little less? iunno) I've been staying up really late playing Lux Pain! It's just really really addictive!! 

BUT!!

There is good news however! As, I was a little confused at the end, because I didn't have all the pictures in the gallery, or all the extra scenes... D': However;

Anyhoo, Apparently you have to play it over and over until you get everything! At first I was a little dis-heartened by this, but apparently there are different endings!! everything changes each time you play it, like what extras you get, etc. [source = lux pain forums, via the official web]

Someone said that you get more extras in the extras section too; like sound~ So I'm really excited now!

Also, when I played it, Honoka went on a rampage in the hospital; killed some, injured others and got herself killed! But the way you play it alters that... so if I play it again, she might survive!! yaay~!

Anyhoo, I won't go into a loooong rant about how you shouldn't diss L.P. berfore you try it, just cause it's a visual novel etc;  I understand that it's not everyone's cup of tea. But I'm just so in love with it!

Well, Anyway, as the title says, brace yourself for a mini rant! X'D

I have a habit of picking out niche games (to the UK market at least). Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of mainstream games, like Pokemon, Animal Crossing, etc. etc. But quite a few, if not at least my favourite games are fairly niche; another code, Izuna, advance wars DS (although it's sequel has recieved quite a bit of pub in nintendo mag), and of course, L.P. Well, you at least don't here very much about them... And I always end up falling in love (?) with games that only end up getting realeased in the US! Take Trauma Centre for example. The 1st was a MASSIVE hit over here, I mean srsly! But even though "Trauma Centre : Under the Knife 2" was released in the US in June 2008, it STILL isn't released here, and, tbh, I doubt it ever will be!

If it weren't for the simply amazing little indie games shop in my town (which is pretty much the only highlight of my town... except for one or two others), I wouldn't have TCutk2! D'8 Tis AWFUL!

I mean; DS games aren't even area coded, so I could play a US game, an australian game, a japanese game etc etc all on my little EU DS... So it's not like extra extra work has to be put in to launch them here!All they need to do is make a few 1000 more batches and ship them out! But nooooo~!

Anyway... This little rant has been provoked by the imminant launch of "Shin Megami Tensei : Devil Survivor" 

It's US release is 23rd June '09. But I'm guessing the European release will either be sometime next autumn, or just.. never.

But it just looks... so... good!! I waaaannntt iittt!! D<

I just hope I can find it on eBay/the net for a reasonable price without uggins of P&P cost thrown on top! D':

Ahh yes, the words of my physics teacher have been running round and round my bain all day and wreaking havoc, making me think such things as; "and if it doesnt't work? it's PHYSICS REVISION!!!!!"; whilst I try and buckle down to study for my last ever GCSE!

Yes, my last last last last LAST exam is a Physics module 1 re-sit this Friday!! (I didn't exactly fail the original, but I'm aiming for at least an A cause I'm doing in for A level!).

It's hard to work when I know everyone else is free though... ( ; _ ; )

But still, I'm just glad I didn't decide to re-sit my first Chemistry module too!!

The weirdest thing is how quickly the exams have gone though! I mean, the past few weeks have been hell, stress-wise, and it seemed like it would take a batallion of wooly mammals dragging me on a stone sledge till I eventually finished these stupid exams! [... don't worry, that analogy didn't make much sense to me either (@_@)]

But now that my final exam is only three days away, I'm looking back on the past few weeks and thinking, "is it... is it really truely almost over?!" I just can't believe I'm almost finished! I can taste freedom!!
Though to be honest, I know I'll probably get that really weird I-don't-have-to-do-anything-in-particular syndrome you get at the end of the school year and stuff. After Friday I have no more homework, coursework, revision or anything of the likes for just over 2 and 1/2 months! SWEET BLISSFULL PARADISE!

☆I ONLY HAVE TWO MORE EXAMS LEFT!!! WHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!☆

(Yaay stars~!) Just a quickie to say "hello" and "OMG ONLY 2 MOAR EXAMS LEFT!!!" I serisouly cannot wait till these damn exams are over!! Tuesday was my last latin exams. Yes that's rtight... examS! We have 4 latin exams. FOUR. 2 literature and 2 language... DX. So on Tuesday we had the 2nd literature and the 2nd language paper (being the last 2). They went ok, but all 3 of us* agreed that the passages in the literature paper were a bit obscure...

Then, Wednesday (yesterday) was French reading & writing, and Physics module 3**. French reading was really hard; even our teacher said so (which is just worrying!) but the writing wasn't too bad. Only thing is... is that our french teacher was in the hall with us, and I swear to god he was staring at me.... I was finishing off really early (as was everyone else apparently) but he's kinda scary.... so I spent ages rambling on in french about nothing in particular and writing reeeally slowly! DX 

Physics however was reeeally easy!! We didn't even have ANY calculations! And we didn'y have to draw any lens/mirror diagram! Crazyness!!!

Anyhoo, today was History paper 2; and my friends and I spent till about 8.30 ish till 1.15 ish having a MASSIVE cram session! Hahaha! It was actually really funny... But I guess you kinda had to be there! XD So, my history exam went pretty well.

And noooow, I only have 2 more exams!! RS next Monday, and Physics module 1 re-take (OvO) on Friday! Ireally can't wait till the exams end! But~! This Saturday is the raft race at my sailing club, and I've managed to get *most* of my friends come and be pirates! YAR HARR ME HEARTIES!

Don't you love it when you stumble upon something on youtube and end up finding an amazing band that you instantly fall in love with?!

I've literally just found out about Lolita23Q, and well, they're amazing!! They've instantly shot right up to my top 5 bestest ever bands! [being Queen, An Cafe, Mor ve Ötesi, The Pillows and now Lolita23Q - and yes, I am aware I have a strange taste in music!] nyoro~n!

And finding lolita23q was good for two reasons!! Not only have a found a great band! I've found a great hairstyle!! >3

Yeah. I want Sou's hair!! >=3 (but brunette, of course~) Actually... mum said she's taking me to the salon the day of my prom (ugh - like I said, an all girl's school prom DX ), to get my hair done all nice and pretty. Not quite prom-ish but it's still nice and pretty. sides; i have short hair so it's not like you can curl it or anything... DX

Anyhoo. Yesterday I was working at oxfam as per usual with 'P' [<- cuz I'm really imaginative when it comes to psuedonyms] and it was SO empty!! I mean seriosuly! We found a broken clothes hanger and... used thehook to pretend we were captain hook! XD cuz we're mature... We also made a 'watapillar' (pronounced like caterpillar) out of a blister I had on my finger XD

Oh yeah. Cause I'm silly, when I was practising guitar yesterday morning and got a blister, I ignored it. Meaning it was cut open... hahaha! It didn't really hurt but but got wool and such stuck in it DX

Speaking of guitars, I tried to convince my friend to get me a gibson for my birthday...  

... no luck. 

So if anyone reading this has a spare $4000 or so... XD jk jk.

Anyhoo~ I was going to launch in to a rant about something to do with abolishing private schools in the UK that was on some politics show this morning... But I'm too tired right now.. sorry, I'll do it some other time!

Tired

I'm so tired... mum's actually ordered me not to work today!! 

Yesterday was horrible... It started off with the Chemistry exam from hell... I swear I must've failed it... And then at lucnh time I had to deal with some extremely precocious year 7s. I'm sure I've probably ranted on about this before (And if I haven't then prepare for many a future rant).

But seriously... the manners of these brats are just appalling!!! I went up to a group of them and very politely asked if anyone knew the time... One of them stood up ... stood right in front of me really really really close... and glared at me with that chavvy "wha you doin here bithc?!" look on her face. Then she stood right next to me and mimiced me... God I swear that kid needs a slap one of these days... My school used to be a great school; full of really nice kids, people who actually had respect for one another. Maybe I should be head girl and start a regin of terror!! I'm gonna sound like an old woman, but kids these days are just spoiled brats with no respect!! 

Hmf... I'm at the risk of sounding like an old woman again, but It's probably because they've grown up with flashy phones and facebook and such... I'm not saying these things are bad but I swear these kids hit puberty at the age of 3... it's like they have no childhood! 

Moving on, after that I got verbally harrassed by a group of tw*ts at the bus station last night (I won't go into details). 

Ironically, one of them was wearing a 'Jesus Loves You' belt.

Ugh... anyway. I've also decided to write about my views on God, and religion... So iunno expect a link soon.

Again, at the risk of sounding like an old woman again... I'm sorry, but there aren't very many bands as good as the likes of Queen. They were awesome. They were 10000000% artists, they wrote their own music and... the concerts!! I watched the Queen at Wembley concert on youtube... They were performers and there really aren't concerts like that anymore!! The first few clips were of all the fans going into the stadium. The crowds were massive!! Like a sea of people! literally!! And Freddie... man he knew how to play the crowd!! He had them hanging off his every word! It makes me really really sad to think that no matter how much I want it, I could do everything and still never be able to see Queen live in concert. Not properly...  

I know Freddie passed before I was born, but I've listened to Queen for as long as I can remember! I know all their songs pretty much inside out!

*sigh* Freddie, wherever you are, you live on in my heart!

Moving on, I'm sure you may have heard about the English government. WEll, basically it;s completely f*cked up. COMPLETELY.

I was watching the news at 10 the other night, and footage from parliament showed Gordon Brown saying that Alistair Darling is great at his job and is doing a great job of getting us out of a reccession. 

Proof that Alistair's eyebrows have hypnotic powers.

All the MPs are walking out of parliament now, showing that we are truly doomed.

Another thing, one of the MPs came out of parliament and told the newsman that Gordon Brown is perfect for the job, and no one else in the whole of parlaiment could do it as well as he.

My friends and I have, of course, put together a plan. Our plan is to create the 'SUPER PM 1000'

Unfortunately this is impossible. And although many of my friends and peers know me well for my strong views on Boris Johnson for PM, thinking about it, the best person to be our Prime Minsiter would have to be Sir Alan Sugar!!!

Sir Alan: "Enough! you're all rubbish!"

Classic. And of course, BJ could be his right hand man.  Right, that's that then. But realistically, it has just been announced that Sir Alan Sugar is to join parliament!!!

It's June!! It's Juuuune!! White Rabbits!! Pinch! Punch! 1st of Month!! =3 yeaah I love June!! Firstly, because my birthday is in June, and 2ndly because It means it's SUMMER!! It's also great cause theres a HEAP load more bugs in animal crossing!! (fish too...) And fireflies at night! =3 (in ac) And like it says up there, only 18 days till my last exam!! HOORAHH!

Today I am revelling in the fact I never have to do a maths paper, or any 'maths' ever again in my entire life!! GOODBYE QUADRATIC, SIMULTANEOUS, AND ANY OTHER SORT OF EQUATIONS!! Yes, after we get our results we're planning to meety up at my house and have a bonfire with all our old school notes!! I assure you that ICT will be first to go up in flames, quickly followed by English anthologies and maths study cards and past papers!!! I just hope, nay, PRAY Seamus Heaney isn't on the English Lit A level syllabus!! I'm sorry, I'm sure he's a very good poet.... *cough*... but if I read another poem about bloody potatoes, I swear my head will explode!!

Speaking of which my next exam is English Language, which is tomorrow morning... But thankfully, it's my only exam tomorrow, so I have the rest of the day to finish off making History study cards for paper 1... (almost a whole pack of cards on history paper 1... and I haven't even got round to history paper 2 stuff yet!!), finish off chemistry and maaaybe look at some poems for english paper 2. 

... HAHAHAHA or not... Nahh I'll prob do physics... ANYWAY, moving on to more interesting stuffs than my boring rant about what I plan to study tomorrow afternoon (after eating some creme caramelle that it).

On Saturday I went out with mum, 'coconut' (her 'partner', aka bf) and 'A' to a nice Italian restaurant. 'Twas an interesting adventure... as we realised that on that particular street time was looping. Either that or the same cars were just going past agsain and again for no real reason... (making the time loop the most logical answer). Another interesting point was 'A''s meal... He ordered spaghetti carbonara, and well... It had an egg on it... but we couldn't really tell it was an egg... it WOBBLED!!! Until that is, he proded it and yoke spilled out... XD 

As we were leaving, the Italian manager said to me "I like your hat!!". I wasn't wearing a hat... Mum explained that when Italian men like a young girl (in a completely NON pedophilic way) they say things to try and make them sound clever... only 99% of the time it just ends up stupid. Apparently, the joke was that he liked my hat... but as I didn't have a hat, there was no hat to like... which, apparently... is funny? Though to be honest it did make us laugh, cause we thought he was a complete loony XDD Still... not as bad as when I was a kid and they'd squeeze my cheeks and say "AWWW!! BAMBINA!!!!". Mum says that they like me because I look Italian..? But I'm 1/8th Maltese so... but even so my skin isn't THAT dark?

Bu whatever.

Like I've said it's been really hot this weekend. And today was no exception! It's so nice to wake up with the window open and it being really sunny and warm!!

With regards to my window... as the only part that opens is too small to get through, and as it opens on to a 16ft (or so) drop into the river, it's safe enough to leave it open all day and all night for weeks on end, so long as it's warm enough.

This is great cause it keeps me cool at night and, like I said, it's great to wake up to. Only minus is... MIDGES. They are everywhere!! I mean srsly!! I usually play on my DSi before I fall asleep, and the little blighters get attracted to light; and thus, to my DS... So, I try and bat them away but.... they usually end up getting squished by accident... ALL OVER MY DS!!! I swear I didn't even touch the thing and there was a giant green smudge across my top screen! Not to mention I have the white one, so ... yknow! Ugh!! It's awful! And as if that's not enough... they constantly harass me even when there aren't any lights!! I was trying to sleep last night, and I they kept flying into me!!!
