PUPA

I'll start off with a mini Torchwood rant, just to get it out of the way.
**WARNING! MAY CONTAIN HINTS THAT LEAD TOWARD SPOILERS.**
though technically, there are no spoilers as such.
"OMG", "NOOOO" and "IANTO!!!!!!" have been about the only 'sentences' that have been able to form in my head for the past 2 hours or so. ...until now. Having just got back from camping, I've been catching up on the Torchwood episodes I missed. And.... I can't even begin to explain.
Seriously, it won't make sense to non-Torchwood watchers and I'm guessing most Torchwood watchers have watched it by now.
Ianto... God, I sobbed so much in that scene. I mean, properly. The scene near the end of the last episode too. *sigh*... and now, I doubt there's ever going to be any Torchwood ever again. I mean how can they follow an ending like THAT!? Susie, Tosh, Owen, and now Ianto D':
Anyway, this is probably making no sense whatsoever for non-Torchwood fans, so rant over.

In other, more JOYOUS nudes; I just got back from camping!!! Whee~ to be honest, I never knew camping could be so much fun!! And! Most importantly;
a) there was not a bloody backpack in sight
b) the toilets were actually sanitary
c) The food was good
d) It was relaxed
e) 'Twas without the pressure of trying to walk faster than my body could cope whilst sun-stroked and carrying a backpack.
[geez, that was a pretty long list; sorreh]
In short, I was surrounded by very lovely people (minus the chav incident) that actually cared I wasn't a good 100 yards or so behind with heat stroke.*
So! ya, I went camping to York with A, A's parents, A's brother (C), and A's brother's friend.
...try saying that 100 times.
The weather was glorious too!! SUNSHINE!!! It did, however, rain on the odd occassion, but overall it was very sunny and very hot and we had BBQs!!!!!
The campsite was like the Ritz in comparison to the horrideousness of DoE. Not to mention that there were (quite probably) a million and one little baby frogs hopping all over the place (sorta). They were SO adorable!
We spent our two days in York being very touristy and visiting the main attractions. On Thursday, we went to "JORVIK" the Viking museum. (Jorvik = York in Viking speak... I caught on to this, naturally, a good 10 minutes after everyone else). And we also went on an open top sight seeing bus 8D and walked along the city wall. Oh!! And spent about 10-15 minutes standing outside a model shop watching the model trains travel along their tracks, and questioning as to why, and where we could get, the miniture TARDIS hanging from nylon thread. And, of course, oggling at the pure skilled craftmanship on the life size model blue-bottle. Though, in hindsight, it was probably just a dead blue-bottle... but STILL. On Friday we went to the train museum!! 8D they had a Japanese bullet train (aka Shinkansen) which thus, induced a whole wave of me waving my arms up and saying "SHINKANSEN!!" every now and then to 'T'; which folled by being poked hard in the ribs by T, whilst he said "YAGU SAKI!" (which, means nothing really).
We also went to the York Dungeons 8D and I had something clinging to my back most of the way round XD
Nights were spent outside the tent, having BBQs, followed by 'roasting' (more like burning) marshmallows until they were black, over candles. And of course, 'C' doing the same thing to a tomato, and all of us watching in fits of laughter as he ate it XD
Which was then followed by searching for mini frogs, and chasing after each other with a pole-less swingball. Oh! and crawling along the driveway at midnight following a cat.... and bashing heads together whilst attempting to apply NINJA SKILLZ!  .... yeah that PHAILED.
There were also a few interesting card games, including a trivia type game that put the glasses wearers, (A's dad, C & T)  against the sighted, (moi, A and A's mum). We, the sighted, won! XD (of course!)
So, All in all, twas extremely fun and camping is now, officially, back in my good books!!
And now I'm off to Canterbury on Monday in order to get to Dover on Tuesday so that we can head off on our magical adventure cruise to the Baltic! So, as I said in my previous post, I'll attempt to log on at some point in our magical journey in order to update, and die at the sight of 100+ deviations and messages in my devART inbox. (srsly, I've been gone 4 days and it's pretty much almost at that point...!!)

So, tis all fer now, enjoy the rest of July gaiz~!!
STAY NYAPPY~!

PS - sorry for lack of pictures. If I had a reasonable excuse, I'd give it to you. But it's 22.58 and I'm shattered, so I have no excuse. good night
*edit*
Did I forget to mention that A and I decided it wise to belt out Excalibur's song from Soul Eater, whilst 'the glasses wearers' were being asked a question on the matter?

*[To anyone reading this who has the foggiest what I'm on about: no, I'm not being melodramatic; you left me in the dust you slefish people.]
